AI Modernization Engineering Manager responsible for leading application modernization programs, driving AI-assisted software delivery, managing cross-functional engineering teams, and ensuring successful execution of cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities: -
Own delivery, quality, and execution outcomes for a designated modernization pod/workstream within the overall program.
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and technical leads.
Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog management, dependency tracking, risk management, and release readiness for the pod.
Promote and govern the adoption of AI-assisted development practices, AI coding agents, and AI-enabled SDLC processes within the pod.
Define and enforce AI governance controls including approved tool usage, prompt standards, review processes, and human approval checkpoints.
Establish productivity baselines and track AI adoption, velocity improvements, quality metrics, and value realization.
