## Normalized job description

The Director owns target-state architecture for core systems, integrations, and data flows supporting growth, AI automation, analytics, and customer experience. The role reports to the VP of Business Applications, leads a small Solution Architecture team, and remains hands-on in solution design, integration architecture, and vendor evaluation.

Responsibilities include target-state architecture for CRM, ERP, and SaaS systems; operational data architecture, systems of record, canonical identifiers, and integration standards; Architecture Decision Records and reference designs; solution design for CPQ, CLM, and revenue-lifecycle initiatives; transaction governance; platform and vendor selection; platform rationalization; roadmap sequencing and estimates; architecture review; business/technical translation; practice building; team development; and use of AI to accelerate architecture documentation, evaluation, and vendor research.

Requirements include 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, including three to four years owning strategic target-state architecture and platform decisions; hands-on multi-platform integrations; deep Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERP architecture; middleware, iPaaS, API, cloud, and on-premises integration patterns; working-director experience; architecture documentation and executive presentations; complex multi-entity environments; vendor-neutral platform judgment; practical AI adoption; and servant technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications include a related degree or equivalent experience; interest in aviation; private-equity or pre-IPO software; M&A integration, carve-outs, or TSA exits; TOGAF, AWS, Google Cloud, or security architecture certifications; IAM and ITSM/ITAM platforms; and earlier solution-architecture or engineering-lead experience.

Jeppesen ForeFlight serves commercial, business, military, and general-aviation sectors.

## Evidence map and fit gate

- Positioning track: Technical manager
- Weighted capability score: 78%
- Strong evidence: Enterprise architecture, AWS, APIs/integration, data platforms, AI adoption, vendor evaluation, technical leadership, complex acquired-business environments, and M&A-adjacent platform consolidation.
- Required gap: Deep Salesforce CRM and Oracle ERP architecture are explicit requirements and are not supported by Keith’s career record.
- Work-model conflict: The employer expressly prefers Pacific, Central, or Mountain time zones; Keith excludes roles with Pacific/West Coast time-zone preference.
- Status conflict: The posting expired and no longer accepts applications.
- Sector conflict: The company explicitly serves military aviation, creating a defense-industry concern under Keith’s standing exclusions.
- Outcome: FAIL because the role is closed and also conflicts with platform, time-zone, and defense constraints.
- Resume, cover letter, LinkedIn request: Not generated.
- Google Drive used: No
