## Normalized job description

The Senior/Principal AI Architect aligns AI strategy with business strategy across projects and departmental initiatives. The architect leads creation of best practices, policies, procedures, and AI documentation; collaborates with data scientists and other AI professionals; identifies and pilots use cases; and gathers input from business users, data scientists, security professionals, data engineers, analysts, and IT operations.

Responsibilities span the AI lifecycle: defining business cases, outcomes, and success metrics; discovering data and addressing privacy, security, and compliance; selecting foundation models; ensuring training and testing environments and data are available; supporting training/test plans and evaluation; planning deployment; and defining continuous monitoring and governance.

Key deliverables include an enterprise AI reference architecture; AI platform blueprint for Azure, Foundry, and hybrid environments; AI governance and risk framework; model and agent evaluation framework; AI engineering standards; multi-agent system architecture; cost and performance optimization strategy; and solution architecture for major initiatives.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or 14 years of total relevant experience; deep expertise in cloud architecture, data platforms, ML/AI systems, security, and governance; knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, fine-tuning, agents, tooling, and observability; enterprise-scale architecture involving PHI/PII; influence with CIO/CDO-level leaders; ML/deep-learning workflow and lifecycle architecture; data management, governance, model development, deployment, and production workflows; requirements-to-architecture translation; data strategy; architecture across applications, technology, process, and information; business-value measurement; Agile and product-management knowledge; presentation and communication; complex-enterprise implementation; and software development using languages such as C#, Python, .NET, and Java.

Healthcare IT, healthcare-payer knowledge, senior-executive presentations, and experience with NLP, computer vision, PyTorch, TensorFlow, GitHub, and Hugging Face are preferred.

Impact Consulting Solutions describes itself as a Pittsburgh-area IT consulting and placement company serving clients from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies.

## Evidence map and fit gate

- Positioning track: Technical IC
- Weighted capability score: 88%
- Strong direct evidence: 25+ years in AI/ML/data systems; enterprise AI architecture; LLMs, RAG, agents, vector databases, MLOps, evaluation, observability, governance, security, privacy, APIs, Python, and AWS; 200+ enterprise customers advised; production AssistX platform with 70+ automations across 20+ workflows; cloud privacy platform automating roughly 90% of a regulated process.
- Domain evidence: Healthcare/health-tech and regulated-data experience are supported; payer-process experience is not directly documented but is preferred rather than required.
- Material gap: Keith’s source record does not show Azure AI Foundry experience, while an Azure/Foundry/hybrid platform blueprint is an explicit key deliverable.
- Outcome: FAIL. The mandatory platform deliverable is unsupported, which is a hard technology gap under the fit gate.
- Resume, cover letter, LinkedIn request: Not generated.
- Google Drive used: No
