For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager - AI/ML (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will lead a high-impact AI engineering function focused on building and scaling applied machine learning capabilities that support user-facing experiences and backend systems. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver production-ready AI features while ensuring reliability, scalability, and strong clinical safety standards. The position combines people leadership with hands-on technical oversight across core ML infrastructure, model deployment, and rapid feature delivery. This is an opportunity to shape the engineering foundation for AI-driven innovation in a healthcare environment.

Compensation: $135,000 – $160,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead the AI engineering team to deliver user-facing features rapidly.
Architect core AI/ML infrastructure, including feature stores and AI observability.

Qualifications
8+ years in software engineering and machine learning, with 5+ years designing scalable backend systems in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.).
3+ years of experience as an engineering manager with a track record of hiring and managing Senior and Staff engineers.
3+ years of experience building core ML infrastructure such as feature stores and MLOps pipelines.
2+ years of experience developing production-ready applied AI features, with a focus on LLM integrations and search relevance engines.
Proven ability to manage the delivery of user-facing features and backend infrastructure across multiple production cycles.
