Senior Principal AI Architect – Agentic AI / AI Foundation 

 Role Overview 
 We are seeking a Senior Principal AI Architect to lead the architecture and technical direction of an enterprise AI Foundation / AI Enablement Platform supporting a next-generation Agentic AI initiative. The initiative is focused on action-oriented AI—systems that can understand natural-language intent, reason over enterprise knowledge, interact with enterprise applications and APIs, and execute business workflows rather than simply generate text. This is a hands-on architecture and client-facing consulting role. The ideal candidate will combine deep AI/Agentic AI architecture expertise with strong enterprise architecture, stakeholder management, consulting, and business-development capabilities.

 Key Responsibilities 
 Define and own the architecture for an enterprise AI Foundation / AI Enablement Platform supporting Agentic AI and action-oriented AI capabilities. 
 Architect AI systems that can understand user intent, reason over enterprise context, interact with tools and APIs, and execute business workflows. 
 Define architecture for LLMs, AI agents, agent orchestration, tool/function calling, RAG, agent runtime, and multi-agent patterns. 
 Design how AI agents securely interact with enterprise applications, APIs, data platforms, and business services. 
 Architect and integrate Enterprise Knowledge Fabric (EKF) capabilities, including enterprise knowledge, semantic context, metadata, taxonomy, knowledge retrieval, and grounding. 
 Establish scalable patterns for enterprise knowledge and data to be consumed by AI agents and LLM-powered applications. 
 Define AI governance, security, guardrails, observability, evaluation, auditability, and compliance frameworks. 
 Establish production-ready architecture for AI platforms, including reliability, scalability, performance, monitoring, and lifecycle management. 
 Guide API-first, microservices, distributed systems, event-driven, and real-time integration architectures. 
 Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand business challenges and identify opportunities where AI and Agentic AI can create measurable value. 
 Act as a trusted technical advisor to senior client stakeholders and help define AI technology strategies, roadmaps, and transformation initiatives. 
 Identify and shape new technology opportunities and work with sales, consulting, and delivery teams to develop solutions and proposals. 
 Help grow strategic client relationships by translating emerging AI capabilities into practical business solutions and new engagements. 
 Review architecture, technical designs, APIs, and implementations to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability. 
 Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and delivery teams. 

 Must-Have Qualifications 
 15+ years of experience in enterprise, platform, solution, software, or technology architecture. 
 Proven experience architecting enterprise AI foundations, AI platforms, AI enablement platforms, or similar AI infrastructure. 
 Strong production experience with Agentic AI, LLMs, AI agents, RAG, agent orchestration, and tool/function calling. 
 Experience designing AI systems capable of interacting with enterprise applications, APIs, tools, and business workflows. 
 Strong understanding of Enterprise Knowledge Fabric (EKF) or comparable enterprise knowledge architecture. 
 Experience with enterprise knowledge, semantic models/layers, metadata, taxonomy, ontology, knowledge graphs, semantic search, or knowledge retrieval. 
 Strong background in API-first architecture, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integrations. 
 Experience taking AI initiatives from architecture and POCs into production-scale enterprise implementations. 
 Strong understanding of AI governance, security, guardrails, observability, evaluation, and responsible AI. 
 Proven ability to engage with senior business and technology stakeholders and influence enterprise technology decisions. 
 Experience identifying technology opportunities, shaping solutions, and supporting business growth within strategic client accounts. 
 Strong communication, consulting, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
