About the Opportunity The AI Technology Lead is responsible for helping shape how the organization identifies, evaluates, and adopts emerging AI technologies across its enterprise and product ecosystem. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on technical exploration. The AI Technology Lead partners with business and technical leaders to identify high-value AI and agentic automation opportunities, rapidly prototype potential solutions, and determine which concepts can deliver meaningful business value. Rather than owning large-scale delivery programs, this position focuses on technical discovery, experimentation, proof-of-concepts, AI strategy, and scalable adoption patterns . The successful candidate will serve as a trusted internal advisor who can translate emerging AI capabilities into practical opportunities while balancing innovation with security, governance, and operational feasibility. Responsibilities • Guide cross-functional teams through the identification, ideation, and evaluation of AI and agentic automation opportunities. • Research emerging AI technologies and assess their applicability to business processes, products, and customer scenarios. • Lead rapid experimentation and prototyping efforts to validate AI concepts and reduce technical and business uncertainty. • Develop proof-of-concepts and reference implementations for AI-enabled workflows, copilots, and automation solutions. • Identify high-value AI opportunities and provide recommendations that influence the organization’s broader AI strategy. • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to develop plans for scalable AI implementation and adoption. • Define reusable AI standards, patterns, architectures, and guardrails that promote responsible and consistent development. • Advise internal teams on AI capabilities, emerging trends, technical tradeoffs, and practical implementation considerations. • Build organizational AI fluency by educating teams and leaders on practical applications and limitations of AI technologies. • Help standardize AI tools, approaches, and development practices while maintaining flexibility for responsible innovation. • Contribute to the organization’s long-term AI vision by balancing innovation, security, governance, compliance, and measurable business value. • Support additional strategic and technical initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics , or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. • 9+ years of relevant experience in AI/ML, software engineering, data platforms, solution architecture, or related technical fields, with substantial hands-on AI experience. • Practical experience with Generative AI , including large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval techniques, orchestration, and AI-powered workflow automation. • Demonstrated ability to rapidly evaluate emerging technologies, build prototypes, and turn ambiguous concepts into actionable technical plans. • Experience leading cross-functional technical discovery, AI use-case development, experimentation, and early-stage implementation planning. • Strong understanding of modern AI patterns, including copilots, multi-step orchestration, agentic workflows, and human-in-the-loop systems . • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to senior executives and business stakeholders. • Proven ability to influence technical and business strategy without relying solely on direct organizational authority. • Experience incorporating responsible AI principles, including governance, security, compliance, risk management, and operational feasibility. • Willingness to travel up to 25% as business needs require. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment sponsorship is not provided .
