## Direct-match strengths

AI vision and strategy, use-case prioritization, production AI platforms, cross-functional AI leadership, NLP and conversational AI, modern ML/cloud/MLOps, executive communication, distributed teams, and responsible-AI governance are direct strengths.

## Hard or material gaps

Keith's advanced degree is in molecular biology rather than computer science, although the JD expressly accepts equivalent practical experience and his software/AI record is extensive. Formal experiment-design and pattern-recognition wording is less explicit than his direct forecasting, predictive modeling, TensorFlow, SageMaker, NLP, LLM, RAG, evaluation, and data-platform work. Compensation and travel are not disclosed.

## Weighted evidence map

1. Computer science, algorithms, software engineering, and system design — weight 2, score 2/3: Extensive production software, distributed-system, cloud, API, platform, and architecture evidence; degree is not in computer science.
2. Data science, analytics, statistical modeling, and data-driven decisions — weight 3, score 2/3: Direct predictive analytics, forecasting, optimization, Spark, TensorFlow, SageMaker, and enterprise analytics outcomes; formal experiment-design ownership is less explicit.
3. Pattern recognition and complex ML model design/training/evaluation — weight 2, score 2/3: Direct ML model, TensorFlow, SageMaker, forecasting, NLP, and evaluation work, though pattern-recognition terminology is not prominent in the sources.
4. NLP, language models, text analysis, and conversational AI — weight 3, score 3/3: Direct LLM, RAG, conversational AI, voice interaction, labor-law retrieval, agents, and NLP customer-advisory evidence.
5. Build and manage high-performing AI teams delivering production AI — weight 3, score 3/3: Recruited and technically led an 11-engineer AI team; delivered AssistX in eight months and previously led teams up to 25.
6. Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, cloud ML services, and MLOps — weight 2, score 3/3: Direct Python, TensorFlow, SageMaker, AWS, AI lifecycle, evaluation, monitoring, deployment, and governance evidence; PyTorch is not claimed.
7. Executive and non-technical communication — weight 2, score 3/3: Advised 200+ enterprises and C-level leaders, delivered 50+ technical presentations, and repeatedly secured executive support for AI and data initiatives.
8. Advanced degree or equivalent practical experience — weight 1, score 2/3: Ph.D. in molecular biology plus more than two decades of practical AI, software, data, architecture, and leadership evidence.
9. Ethical AI, responsible data use, and regulation — weight 2, score 3/3: Direct privacy, bias, drift, transparency, auditability, lifecycle, security, human-oversight, CCPA/CPRA/GDPR, and HIPAA evidence.
10. Remote distributed collaboration — weight 1, score 3/3: Direct leadership of distributed teams at IDW, SuccessKPI, NorthBay, CambridgeSoft, and AWS.

Weighted result: 55 earned points / 63 possible points = 87.3%, reported as 87%.
